F.A.Q.

• What is the MYM Holiday Showcase?

  • It is a small informal performance to celebrate our halfway point of the dance season, help our dancers gain some confidence by performing a choreography combination or small dance, and to give each family a chance to meet each other and share a smile. 
    (At MYM we love creating community! Holiday Showcase week is a time to come together, meet other parents, and celebrate our dancers in a relaxed atmosphere).

  • This is an event we created so that parents can praise and support their dancers and their accomplishments. 

  • It is a time to help first time dancers overcome shyness and to get those butterflies  out before our year end show in June 2024! 
     

• Where is the Holiday Showcase?

  • The Holiday Showcase is held at Make Your Move Performing Arts in Opelika at the USA Town Center. ​
     

• Who can attend the Holiday Showcase?

  • Due to the performance being inside our studios, we have limited space and seating. We wish for each dancer to just have their immediate family members attend. (1-4 members)
     

• Will there be regular class schedule during the Holiday Showcase week?​

  • There will not be any Starlet Academy classes during Showcase week-aka- NO CLASS for: Twinkle Tots, Twinkle Stars, Kinder Stars, Shining Stars, Rising Super Stars, Petite Hip Hop, Tween Funk Fusion, HipHop Flip Flop, Acro 1, 2, 3 and 4, Ballet: M/P Ballet, 1A, 1B, 2 and 3  will not have class during showcase week.

  • The only classes that will be in session during Holiday Showcase week are our Dynasty team rehearsals.
